MANAGEMENT EVENTS CELEBRATES 30 YEARS OF REDEFINING BUSINESS EVENTS

With a vision to redefine the world of business events, they've adapted to the changing landscape by offering innovative in-person and virtual events and a thriving executive business network, boasting 10,000 members across Europe.

Management Events, the international business matchmaking company, marks its 30th anniversary in the B2B events industry in 2024. The company was founded in 1994 by Finnish entrepreneur Olli Muurainen at the age of 23. With a background in organizing lively techno raves on the outskirts of Helsinki, Muurainen had the vision of bringing the same level of energy and excitement to business events.

At its core, Management Events is about connecting C-level decision-makers with tech solution providers. From intimate panel discussions to grand flagship events, the company has played a key role in fostering fruitful business partnerships over the past three decades.

In 2005, Management Events leaped into international waters, expanding beyond its Finnish roots. The Nordics, Germany, the Netherlands, and Austria soon hosted Management Events' first events and became new bases for the company's operations. In the late 2010s, Management Events extended its reach to Turkey, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, solidifying its global presence.

In response to the changing business landscape, 2020 marked a shift to virtual events. The virtual events were so well-received that they have since become a permanent feature in Management Events' dynamic event offerings.

In 2021, the company introduced the Executive Business Network Aurora Live, providing a platform for top business leaders to connect and share ideas, challenges, and experiences at both in-person and virtual events throughout the year. The network is now home to 10,000 tech decision-makers across Europe.

In March 2024, Management Events organized four in-person flagship events, known as the Executive Day, simultaneously across four countries for members of Aurora Live. Members also have access to on-demand virtual content on the trending topics in IT, cybersecurity, AI, emerging tech, and more. In addition, they can attend exclusive sessions with world-renowned self-development experts such as Simon Sinek, Adam Grant, and James Clear.
