Leaves of Poetry is a collection of thought-provoking poems by Roy Salole. The poems tell tales of past and present memories. They address dark themes like death, pain, grief, murder, and sadness but also cover life, love, freedom, and family topics. The works are random, like a poem about a fish gasping for air and how it relates to fighting with a loved one and a family that cannot look up after losing a loved one. The author has written poems about the lifestyle and weather in Saskatchewan, its wildlife and nature, and the beautiful sunsets in San Pedro. The book also contains poems about the longing romance between the sun and moon and how we cannot keep up with time but should embrace each precious moment. Get a copy of this book and enjoy these poems and more. I loved reading Leaves of Poetry because it brought out many emotions.
