Stockholm, Sweden - October 17th, 2005 - Intentia, the global enterprise solutions provider for the manufacturing, distribution and maintenance industries, announced today that is has been approved as a member of IBM´s ServerProven® and StorageProven(TM) programs. With this certification, Intentia customers are assured that Intentia Application Suite is fully compatible with IBM server and storage solutions. This holds true for the current version of Intentia Application Suite, as well as for future upgrades made available from Intentia.

IBM has validated that Intentia enterprise applications are optimally configured on IBM servers to offer good price performance, low risk and scalability to grow with business needs. Approximately 3,000 Intentia customers run its enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions on an IBM platform.

As a Total StorageProven (TSP) member, Intentia is able to pre-configure solutions to effectively collaborate with IBM databases with little to no customization needed. This allows customers to take full advantage of IBM storage capabilities, including increased data integrity, scalability within the database and virtualized storage in both a centralized and decentralized environment.
