FIRST PERSONAL END-OF-THE-YEAR REVIEW STARTING NOW

Cologne / Bonn, Dec. 19, 2007 – The first user-generated end-of-the-year review is here! Rooting for one’s favorite team at the 2007 FIFA Womens World Cup or enjoying the Live-Earth concert at Hamburg – the users of memoloop tell the world about their very own most important moment of 2007. memoloop, the new and first social community concept in which members can connect via shared memories, has started “Your most important event 2007”. From December 19th to January 22th memoloop users can post and illustrate their most memorable event of the year 2007.

For the first time memoloop initiates historical grassroots democracy: All users vote for the most important event 2007. The author of the best memo receiving an iPhone from Apple.

Florian Wagner, initiator and originator of memoloop: “We are looking forward to this world premiere. For the first time we will hear from the memoloop users, which events and experiences were most important to the people in the year 2007.”

memoloop is a new community concept which allows you to upload and organize memos (complete with text, pictures and videos) of your past. Users can contact other memoloopers who have posted memos referring to an identical place or time. memoloop’s goal: to create a map of personal recollections.
The members of memoloop.com can create groups about different topics. Entries about identical places or dates are connected to one another, the respective users are notified about the match immediately. Using this matching technique shared memories can held build new connections to the future. After connecting through pictures, videos, knowledge or music, memoloop now offers a totally new way of exchange.

About the founders
Florian Wagner, ex-manager of Gruner + Jahr (Bertelsmann) and the Verlagsgruppe Holtzbrinck, is shareholder of Licennium GmbH, a strategy agency focusing on brands and media in Cologne, Germany. The marketing manager came up with the idea to memoloop in November 2006.
Carsten Pasternack is an independent consultant for online marketing, data bases and CMS. Pasternack works online from Berlin and Barcelona.
