Kirkland Group CEO Honored by Our Mississippi Magazine

Jackson, MS-Business Executive Carla Kirkland, CEO of The Kirkland Group, is among an esteemed group of 14 community and business leaders recognized by Our Mississippi Magazine as a 2024 Influential African American Honoree. Kirkland and the other honorees will be recognized at the BancorpSouth Conference Center on Saturday, March 23, at 6 p.m. The event celebrates and recognizes outstanding African American Mississippians who have blazed a trail and impacted positive change in Mississippi. A true servant leader, Kirkland is involved in several civic and community organizations, including the Education Industry Association, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and The Links, Inc. She also serves in leadership for Jack and Jill of America as an Advisory Foundation Board member and Vice Chair of the Alcorn State University Foundation Board. At the corporate level, Carla is a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program graduate.
