New Managing Director at WMD Benelux B.V.

Since April 1, 2016 Hans Willems (50) has been the new managing director at WMD Benelux B.V., based in Maastricht, the Netherlands. WMD Benelux B.V. was founded in 2006 as a subsidiary of WMD Vertrieb GmbH, headquartered in Ahrensburg near Hamburg, Germany.

Hans Willems takes on the direction of WMD Benelux B.V. together with WMD Vertrieb GmbH. Married and the father of two children, he has worked for the WMD Group since 2012, most recently as Senior SAP Consultant. Additional stages in his career include the management of the SAP support team in Paris for BSN Glasspack, as well as activities as SAP FI/CO consultant and business analyst at DHL and the Academic Hospital Maastrict.

In his new post as managing director, his tasks will include continued strategic development of sales and market presence for the Dutch WMD subsidiary in the Benelux market. Cooperation with partners will be intensified for these purposes. “Another part of our plan is to grow our WMD Benelux B.V. consultant team to number six by the end of 2017,” says Hans Willems. “The information-management platform xSuite offers companies a wide range of intelligent workflow and process solutions, serves diverse platforms and IT systems and provides interconnection. We support global deployment with multiple language options and a universally applicable installation concept.”

Founded in 1994 and managed by its owners, WMD has established itself firmly as a software developer and provider of market-leading ECM systems.
