Customizable gFM-Business ERP software now featuring AI support

Northern German software manufacturer gofilemaker has released a new version of its gFM-Business ERP software complete with CRM and inventory management. The software is customizable and expandable by the user, built on the Claris FileMaker platform and is operable on Apple Mac, Microsoft Windows and mobile on iOS devices. The ERP software is scalable and can be used on individual workstations as well as with multiple users on a network.

The gFM-Business inventory management system is adaptable to any sector and includes, as a base feature, a contact management (CRM), inventory management, invoicing, and many other modules. The software and print layouts can be modified and extended by the user with Claris FileMaker Pro on macOS and Windows.

The software foundation of the gFM-Business ERP software is multilingual and supports the management of an arbitrary number of clients in the Professional version. For online shop operators, the inventory management incorporates a REST API interface to run the software in parallel with multiple online shops. The interface allows for automatic takeover of customers, orders, and items from the shop into the ERP software.

Freely Configurable AI Texts with ChatGPT

In the current version 7, the gFM-Business ERP software includes a freely configurable integration of ChatGPT to use any text in the software AI-generated. AI documents can be created in document management that can generate any content from ChatGPT. For quick selection of an AI document, all instructions for ChatGPT can be predefined in the gFM-Business settings.

AI documents for automated communication

AI documents in gFM-Business can generate predefined instructions personalized by ChatGPT. It does not matter whether it's everyday documents such as a job acceptance letter or technical documentation. To create a new AI document, the user simply clicks on the [AI-button] in the dialog for a new document, whereupon the dialog expands to inputs for the AI document.

All instructions can be predefined for each AI document, which can then be executed and generated dialog-driven by the user. In this way, even with individualized texts, a lot of typing can be saved in everyday life.

Insert AI texts throughout the entire ERP software

The gFM-Business 7 ERP software includes a new icon in the toolbar with which AI texts can be inserted into any field of the software. The user simply positions the cursor at an arbitrary location in a data field and then clicks on the new [AI text] icon. In a dialog, the user selects the desired AI text, fills out the instructions for ChatGPT, and generates the selected AI text at the position set by the cursor.

The new AI text feature can also be used to have product descriptions in the product administration be automatically rephrased by ChatGPT. This can be helpful for product descriptions in online shops to receive unique product descriptions in case the texts should be delivered by the supplier.

Licences and Prices

gFM-Business Light is the single-user version of gFM-Business Professional and is available as an app solution and for 399 Euro*. The single-user version of the client-capable database solution gFM-Business Professional is available for 799 Euro**. The multi-user license of gFM-Business Professional is available from 1,299 Euro**. All prices plus FileMaker licenses if applicable.

gFM-Business Custom includes a user account for editing all screen masks and list views with FileMaker. Along with all print layouts, all screen masks can be edited with FileMaker Pro in layout mode with gFM-Business Custom and new tables, fields, and languages (with support from Google Translate and Deepl Pro) can be added. gFM-Business Custom Professional is available as a single-user version from 1,799 Euro**, and as a multi-user license from 2,499 Euro**.

As an open license, gFM-Business includes an administrator user account for customizing and extending the entire software. The open license of gFM-Business Basic is available as a multi-user license for 2,499 Euro**, from gFM-Business Professional from 6,999 Euro**. On request, the open license is also available as an unlimited license with unlimited numbers of users.

All licenses are available in addition to purchase licenses at monthly rental rates. Purchase licenses include all updates within the acquired license cycle for free. The software is now available and also as a 30-day trial version.
