There’s a new and unique alternative to hiring our heroes. Prowess stepped away from traditional employment and launched the nation’s first fashionable employment initiative. Founded, operated and owned by veterans, Prowess is making its mark by penetrating an industry typically not pursued as a career change. The military has taught our nation’s heroes to adapt and to overcome any obstacle. If a veteran can march, then they can surely strut the runway with the best of them. If veterans have modeling on their bucket list, then they are perfect candidates for Prowess.

Prowess’ fleet of models includes, Prowess Women, Prowess Men, Prowess Curvy, Prowess Physique and Prowess Brats. All of the U.S. military bases have Military Exchanges, which bring in hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue each year – a majority of the consumers are service members and their families. Troops and their families enjoy popular brands at Military Exchanges, such as, Coach, Ralph Lauren, Lucky Brand, Tommy Hilfiger, Bali, Hanes, Under Armour, Nike, Levis and Michael Kors. Wouldn’t it be great, and appropriate, to walk into a Military Exchange and see these designers represented by our nation’s finest?

Prowess is hosting a Washington, DC casting call on April 30th from 9:00am-12:00pm at Union 206, located at 822 S. Pickett Street, Alexandria, VA 22304.

Requirements for the casting call are Men minimum height 5’10” and be well groomed; Women minimum height 5’8” and come with natural looking makeup and bring high-heels. All candidates should wear all black. Bring either your DD214 or Military ID, and please no children or guests.
