Discover the new Disney attractions coming to Orlando, Florida

It’s set to be a busy and exciting time over the next few months at Disney’s Orlando theme parks, as a host of exciting new rides and attractions are launched.

The rides and attractions at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom theme parks.

The excitement starts next month with the opening of Disney Springs Town Center, which is the fourth area alongside the Marketplace, West Side and The Landing and will eventually have around 60 shops and restaurants.

Once Town Center is fully open, Disney Springs will have 150 shops, restaurants and other venues, double that of the former Downtown Disney area.

The themed retail, dining and entertainment center is inspired by Florida's charming waterfront towns, historic architecture and natural beauty.

At the end of May, on Memorial Day weekend, the Jungle Book: Alive With Music show, the Tree of Life Awakens and Kilimanjaro Safaris After Dark all launch.

By this time, the third-rail expansion of the Toy Story Mania ride is expected to be in operation, to allow more riders to enjoy the attraction.

On Tuesday 17 June, the Soarin' Around the World attraction, which allows users to experience the wonders of the world is s via the big screen, is set to open.

Sometime during June, the new Frozen Ever After ride that will take guests on an adventurous boat tour through the kingdom of Arendelle to “Winter in Summer” is set to open at Epcot.

Around the same time, characters from the new Finding Dory film will be added to the Turtle Talk with Crush interactive experience at Epcot.

The stage show, Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire begins at Magic Kingdom's Cinderella Castle, replacing the Dream Along With Mickey show.

In August, Princess Elena - the first Disney princess inspired by diverse Latin cultures, who appears in the animated Disney Channel show Elena of Avalor, will be at Magic Kingdom.

Further ahead, in 2017, there is the new Pandora, Avatar-based land at Animal Kingdom, was re-confirmed as sometime in 2017.

And, of course, ground as been broken for Toy Story Land and Star Wars Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios -- but no opening date has been announced.
