New Interfeces for ISO´s Tour Operator System Pacific
Thanks to its connection to Sabre Flights, Pacific has been able to access the Sabre system for many years to carry out bookings, rebookings and cancellations. Pacific now allow choosing and booking seats directly in a seating plan. Here, issues of ASR and SSR are also taken into account.
The connection to Peakwork was also enhanced. For this, Pacific retrieves price information from Peakwork’s flight player, compares is with prices from other sources and then books the lowest price online. The Peakwork player serves as a scheduled flight “cache” that uses EDF data checked for availability as provided by various airlines and tour operators.
On the sales side, scheduled flight offers can now be created and found in EDF players from within Pacific. The improves the data quality and shortens the response time of the overall system.
The new Enterprise Connector by ISO Travel Solutions makes it possible to connect to Alamo, Enterprise and National online. Users thus have direct access to the three car rental providers through the tour operator system Pacific.
In addition, a European travel insurance can now be booked via Pacific. For this, the ERV Travel Insurance is queried for current insurance products and tariffs through an interface a offered as a service by the system. For bookings, travel and personal data are reported online to the insurance company.
The reservation system Pacific from ISO Travel Solutions is a web-based, modularly designed system for use by tourist companies such as operators and travel agents of all sizes. This modern system offers comprehensive functions and supports the entire tourism workflow. The modular design allows combining the individual function modules flexible to match the desired application.
