Turnberry Isle Miami names Valerie Peru as National Sales Manager

MIAMI, Fl.— Furthering its sales strategies throughout the US, Turnberry Isle Miami – Aventura’s exclusive luxury resort and golf club – has announced the appointment of Valerie Peru as National Sales Manager this March 2016.

With more than 10 years of experience in sales for both luxury properties and civic organizations, in her new role as the National Sales Manager, Peru will be responsible for cultivating new relationships and growing current accounts throughout Sout East and South West America, developing and executing sales strategies that emphasize enhanced property performance, planning and organizing new business trips, and more.

Peru joins the team from the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, where she held various sales leadership positions during her six-year tenure. Most recently she was the Sales Manager for corporate group sales, responsible for leading multiple teams of more than 30 sales, catering and marketing professionals. In this position, she was recognized for exceeding goals by 150 percent and as a result garnering a “Circle of Excellence” award from Hilton Worldwide, one of the highest achievements available. Prior to this, Peru served as the Business Development Executive for the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, where she was also acknowledged for being a top sales performer for 24 consecutive months and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual sales by 50 percent.
