Compact Course for North African administration specialists

The company ETLog Health EnviroTech & Logistics GmbH will give training with the main focus on environmental impact assessment at the end of January 2006. The Berlin firm extends therewith the range of services. Main points of the training are rating methods and the practical application of an international environmental impact assessment (EIA).

In addition to the course for waste officers, ETLog Health GmbH extends the range of services in the field of training. Client of this course is the international working Institute at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar KNOTEN WEIMAR GmbH.

The course „Management of municipal infrastructure – Maghreb“ completes with the international requirements. The participants are from Morocco and Algeria. They will learn the structure, aims and the different procedures to prepare a practical EIA. Projects of ETLog Health GmbH in China, South Africa and Germany will exemplify the theme. Moreover ETLog Health GmbH will hold a workshop to delve into and to practice the theme, on a realistic example.

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) may be defined as a formal process used to predict the environmental consequences of any development project. EIA thus ensures that the potential problems are foreseen and addressed at an early stage in the projects planning and design.
