First Annual Windmills International Dance Festival and After Party on Saturday, April 9
Malunas Veterans Dance Performance
The Windmills International Dance Festival will feature six (6) European traditional dance groups with stylings from Lithuania, England, Estonia, Germany, Poland (Gypsy), Russia and Ukraine. The event will include a musical interlude of instrumental performances presenting accordion, bagpipes, balalaika, melodica and the band, BalticUS.
Souvenirs and ethnic food from Lithuania and Italy will be available for purchase and a cash bar for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options.
The event will culminate with “After Party” events which will include
• 6:00pm – 8:00pm - Helmut Licht in the main ballroom providing ballroom music from many countries such Germany & Poland (polka), Austria (Viennese Waltz) , Argnetina (Tango) and many more.
• 6:00pm – 8:00pm - BalticUS will provide a Lithuanian folk dance workshop in the Legion Room
• 8:00pm – 12:00 pm - Karaoke with Michelle Dwyer in the Main Hall.

Malunas is a Lithuanian folk dance group that meet for fun and performance in Baltimore and perform in Maryland and Pennsylvania and surrounding area. Malunas will be participating in the XV Lithuanian Dance Festival (Svente), a 3 day event to be held at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD with a final performance open to the public on July 3, 2016.
