Dubai flights bring more visitors and investors to Central Florida

Press release from: Feltrim Group

It’s often said that where there are new flights, increases in international property demand is sure to follow – and that’s what is happening in and around Orlando, Florida.

Following the introduction by Emirates Airlines in September 2015 of non-stop flights between Dubai and Orlando, it was thought that around 100,000 passengers would be expected to visit Central Florida each year.

In fact, the flights have brought even more visitors - around 16,000 passengers each month - from the Middle East and elsewhere have visited Orlando.

George Aguel, Chief Executive Officer of tourism body, Visit Orlando, told WFTV, “Dubai is the most active international airport in the world, so they are a prime location and absolutely are a strong gateway,”

More visitors are likely to be attracted by direct marketing ads and package deals and want to come to Orlando because it is the ‘mother ship’ of some of the world’s most famous brands, he says.

With the Dubai real estate market struggling – agent Core Savills ranked it 96th out of 100 with its 5.5% decline in 2015 – Middle East investors are looking for alternatives that can give them healthy returns.

Garrett Kenny, Chief Executive Officer of leading Central Florida developer and agent, Feltrim Group, has already travelled to Dubai to speak about the advantages in investing in real estate in and around Orlando.

Among top-class developments that caught the eyes of Middle Eastern investors was Feltrim’s luxury lakeside resort, Balmoral at Waters Edge.

Garrett says, “With the median price of Orlando real estate rising 12% in the year to February 2016, the fortune of the Central Florida market is dramatically different to the Dubai market performance.

“Now that Middle Eastern real estate investors can fly directly to Orlando, see our great value real estate for themselves – and enjoy the world-class theme parks and entertainment that the area has to offer, then more are snapping up property in the area.

Balmoral at Water’s Edge includes high-end custom homes with three to eight bedrooms, set in a 113-acre private gated community featuring tranquil parks, gardens, walkways and lakes.

Leasehold investors can obtain 6% net for up to three years. Properties are fully furnished feature a private pool plus off-peak season use for investors.

The premier resort and community features top-class leisure facilities, including a resort-style pool with luxury clubhouse, mini waterpark, lakeside beach, gym and spa, gourmet kitchen, restaurant and more.

Feltrim Group began almost 20 years ago with CEO Garrett Kenny's vision of operating a world class, internationally connected real estate firm.

The group is headquartered in the heart of Florida in the city of Davenport and now brings together construction, real estate, management and immigration services for international and local buyers as well as investors.
