We are absolutely thrilled to announce the availability of our brand new #SE301 carrier board! 🎉 This state-of-the-art board supports two of the most advanced SOM devices - a high-performance #PolarFire #FPGA 🚀 (SOM1) and an innovative #PolarFireSoC 💡 (SOM1-SOC).
The SE301 is extremely versatile - it can be used as a standalone board or integrated into a host PC. It provides engineers and developers with a wide array of interfaces and options including:
⚙️ #FMC+ connector linked to SOM1
⚙️ #FMC connector for SOM1-SOC
⚡️ #SFP+ for lightning-fast data transmission
🖥 DisplayPort for video output
💽 SATA for storage drives
🌉 PCIe Gen 2 x8 (both SOMs can access through an FPGA-configured PCIe switch)
🔌 GPIO for general purpose I/O
🤝 I2C header
📲 USB OTG as a USB device or host
💾 JTAG to USB for programming both SOMs with ease
⌚️ Si35338 clock generator for advanced clocking capabilities
⏱ External clock input for additional timing control
🔗 #JTAG connector to program any attached FMC+ board
A key highlight of the #SE301 is the robust inter-processor communication between the two SOMs. This is achieved through 4 high-speed #serdes transceivers operating at 12.7Gbps each (50.8Gbps total bandwidth) and a 16-bit AXI streaming interface. The board also provides 12 pairs of GPIO signals directly between the two SOMs for maximum design flexibility.

Cores include FFT, Polyphase Filter, Power Spectrum Extraction, and interleave. All cores are designed to target Virtex-4 and Virtex-5 as well as Virtex-II Pro FPGAs. FFT and Polyphase filter cores are essential components of the Beamforming application offered by Sundance DSP.

Optimized, hand-coded floating-point DSP, image processing, Linpack, Eispack, and BLAS libraries. A unique floating-point DSP library for fixed-point TI DSPs! Linpack, Eispack, and CBLAS libraries are specialized and target DSP-based solutions using TMS320C64xx and TMS320C67xx.

Support for embedded applications, using conduction-cooled hardware, in Software Defined Radio (SDR), Beamforming, image processing, telecommunications, industrial automation, and military.
