Cube Eye TOF 3D Depth Camera
ToF sensors work by emitting a light pulse and then measuring the time it takes for the pulse to return. The distance to the object is then calculated by dividing the speed of light by the time it took for the pulse to return.
The Cube Eye TOF 3D Depth Camera uses a modulated light source. This means that the light source is turned on and off in a regular pattern. The receiver's detector is synchronized with the light source, so it only measures the light that is emitted during the on period. This helps improve the accuracy of the distance measurement.
The phase difference is the difference in the phases of the emitted and received light waves. The phase of a light wave is a measure of how far the wave has traveled. The phase difference can be measured by comparing the peaks and troughs of the two waves.
The modulation frequency is the frequency at which the light source is turned on and off. The modulation frequency can be used to calculate the speed of light.
By combining the measured phase difference and modulation frequency, the Cube Eye TOF 3D Depth Camera can calculate the distance to the object with high accuracy.
