Borlas implemented treasury management solution for Auchan Russia

Borlas Consulting Group has created a treasury cash management system in Oracle e-Business Suite for Auchan group in Russia.

The project scope includes the following business areas of the group:
– network of hypermarkets "Auchan" in Russia: 57 classic hypermarkets, 27 hypermarkets "Auchan City" and 7 hypermarkets "Our Rainbow";
– Russian supermarket network "Atak", which includes 175 stores;
– division "Immochan" (which manages 35 shopping centers and galleries in Russia and has over 152 000 sq. m of retail space in its portfolio).
As Elena Tishakova noted, Head of treasury of "Auchan" group in Russian: “When choosing options for the implementation of the system for corporate treasury, the important criteria for us was both the Russian relevant business model of product to Russian reality, and experience of the integrator in the automation of treasury functions for multinational companies. We have succeeded in achieving our project goals in a rather short timeframe with Borlas”.

The following key tasks have been automated by the system:
• short and medium-term planning of cash flow;
• daily cash planning and distribution of funds;
• downloading data on actual inflows and outflows of funds with required analytics of management accounting for all banks in the group;
• maintaining credits, loans, deposits and financial instruments;
• registration of hedge transactions;
• automatic reconciliation of treasury and accounting data;
• preparing reports for local management and headquarters of the Auchan group.
