What Does a Japanese Knotweed Insurance Backed Guarantee Involve?
Here at Taylor Total Weed Control, our treatments are covered by Guarantee Protection Insurance Ltd (GPI), meaning we can provide an insurance-backed guarantee that your knotweed treatment will continue even if we stop trading.
So, even if Taylor Total Weed Control stops trading for whatever reason, your Japanese knotweed infestation will still be treated, monitored, and even re-treated if necessary, as per the terms of your chosen treatment plan with us. Our insurance-backed guarantee means that you are protected whether we stop trading before the treatment programme is finished or during the guarantee period of 5 or 10 years.
The guarantee will cost £75 on top of the cost of the treatment program. If you need to make a claim on the Japanese knotweed insurance, GPI will:
• Arrange a fresh inspection of your property with a new contractor, the fee for which will be refunded if the claim is valid
• Pay for an alternative contractor to attend your property to complete any outstanding treatment or monitoring if you are claiming during the treatment or monitoring period
• Pay for any re-treatment required if you are claiming during the guarantee period
