Pulaski County, Arkansas Recording Documents Electronically with Simplifile

Pulaski County, AR – November 12, 2007 - Simplifile announced today that the company will soon be electronically recording (eRecording) land record documents such as deeds, mortgages, and reconveyances submitted by title companies, abstractors, banks, and attorneys, in the Pulaski County Clerk’s Office.

To introduce the public to eRecording, Pulaski County is hosting an eRecording kick-off meeting from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm, November 19, 2007 in the Jeffery Hawkins Conference Room located inside the Pulaski County Regional Center at 501 W. Markham Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. Simplifile representative Patricia Sponem will be in attendance to demonstrate the system and to conduct a question and answer session.

eRecording is the process of submitting, receiving, and processing, via a secure Internet site, documents for recording that have traditionally been delivered to the county for recording by runner, express mail, or courier service. eRecording offers customers the ability to simplify and accelerate all aspects of the recording process, dramatically shortening the Gap and improving auditability.
