Berlin, October 29, 2015 – Infotecs, the international provider of IT security solutions, released the official version of ViPNet Client for Android. This mobile application is a part of the ViPNet Mobile Security solution and provides protection for sensitive business communication on Android-based mobile devices. Starting from November 2015, the ViPNet Client for Android app will be available on Google Play.

Business communication with mobile devices is now broadly used by many employees, not only by managers and sales representatives. Companies are increasingly facing BYOD and mobile device management strategies, which involve all their personnel around the world. However, the IT security measures implemented for mobile devices are often insufficient. The number of security incidents on smartphones, tablets, etc. keeps growing.

Therefore, Infotecs has developed the ViPNet Mobile Security solution, which ensures secure and reliable access to the corporate resources from mobile devices. ViPNet Client for Android is an important component, which provides the highest level of security for communication with Android devices. This mobile app can protect any applications, such as email and remote desktop clients, CRM and ERP systems.

All solutions of Infotecs are based on its proprietary ViPNet technology, which is designed for symmetrical key management and provides direct point-to-point encryption. The main advantages of the technology include independence from the mobile communication provider and roaming. The customer manages the key structure fully on his or her own. This guarantees high data throughput and minimizes failures and data losses.

The customers who already use the ViPNet VPN security solution can now easily integrate Android mobile devices in their ViPNet VPN network. Currently, you can download the test version of ViPNet Client for Android from http://www.infotecs.biz/download/#vipnetclient. In November, the application will appear on Google Play, and you will be able to install it quickly at any time.

Along with ViPNet Client for Android, Infotecs is developing a client for the iOS operating system by Apple. The release is scheduled for the end of 2015.
