ViPNet Technology Progresses to the Evaluation Stage of Germany’s BSI Certification

Infotecs has submitted the ViPNet Crypto Core to BSI to certify that it conforms to the high standards of Common Criteria. Common Criteria (Common Criteria for Information Technology Security Evaluation, CC) is an international standard (ISO/IEC 15408) for computer security certification. In Germany it is conducted by BSI, an independent evaluation and certification authority. The complex evaluation procedure comprises several stages, the Evaluation Assurance Level (EAL), which states that the system's principal security features are reliably implemented.
