Automated marking of PCBs and other electronic components

A marking station in which several printing technologies are linked with each other is the main exhibit which will be demonstrated by Wiedenbach Apparatebau GmbH together with Domino Deutschland GmbH at the productronica 2015 trade fair, hall B1, booth 547. The 2.5 m long and 1 m wide “Industrial Solution Print Bank (ISPB)” is foreseen to mark continuously printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other electronic components. The ISPB combines an inkjet printer of the Wiedenbach CS series, a fibre laser type F220i and a label print dispenser of the Domino M series, in order that the different marking technologies can be optimally used. For automatic quality control, a camera system from Taymer can be integrated.
Further exhibits are a remote control and maintenance system for industrially applied printers and the „QuickDesign“ software for the creation of print texts and print control. Additionally, by means of a CS 407 type inkjet printer there will be shown that thin cables with a black PE sheath can be precisely and durably printed with a highly pigmented white ink developed in-house.
