whats live? compiles live streams from the Frankfurt Motor Show on one website for the first time
Heusenstamm, September 9, 2015. Automobile fans who don’t have the time to attend the IAA / Frankfurt can now visit www.whatislive.com for an overview of live streams of the press conferences of individual car makers from the tradeshow. On this platform viewers can find information about each broadcast and can easily navigate to the transmitting site of the manufacturer.
“Before, car lovers had to search for the live stream of each car maker separately, which wasn’t always that easy. Now at www.whatislive.com, enthusiasts can find out at a glance which presentation is airing when and ‘tune in’ right on time“, says Marcel Raab, project manager at “whats live?”. After the transmission, users can still find the links to individual sites on “whats live?”.
But users can find much more than just the live streams of car manufacturers on whatislive.com. There are also webcasts of sporting events, lifestyle and music events. “Our idea is to offer the viewers of internet live streams a clear overview of the available webcasts. At the same time, producers are given a platform where they can draw attention to themselves. Similar to YouTube, which functions as a library for video-on-demand, “whats live?” enables the producers to post a live stream, present themselves and make it easier to be found in the world wide web,” explains Marcel Raab.
“whats live?” has been online since 17 August 2015 and has already brought viewers and producers together from all over the world. For example, young reggae singer Lucas di Pasquale from Canada, who gave a concert in New York, or races from the VLN series for motorsport fans.
“whats live?”/www.whatislive.com is a division of ComSat Media GmbH. ComSat Media GmbH was established in 1998 as an agency for up-to-date motion picture communication.
