Internet live stream magazine “whats live?” to launch with highlights of the International Motor Show in Frankfurt. Among others with the live broadcast of Hyundai Motor Europe.

Heusenstamm, August 12, 2015: Car maker Hyundai Motor Europe has chosen an exclusive placement on the “whats live?” platform for their internet broadcast from the IAA motor show. The fourth largest car manufacturer in the world, with European headquarters in Offenbach/Main, Germany, has been relying on modern online and social media strategies for a long time and now sees whatislive.com as an opportunity to make the live broadcast of their press conference on September 15, 2015 available to even more viewers.

“We conceptualize and produce our own broadcast specially for our live trade fair reports, in order to inform multipliers, customers and car fans live about our new products. That’s why we are eager to reach as many people as possible. While the true Hyundai fan knows how to find all the information about our broadcast on the Hyundai website, we also want to continue acquiring new viewers beyond that,” says Bent Böer, Manager PR and Social Media at Hyundai.

According to Bent Böer, the company wants to continue addressing and gaining these viewers by using “whats live?” and the social media activities associated with it.

It is of particular importance to the PR department at Hyundai Motor Europe that “whats live?” should function solely as an intermediary to make the broadcast known. “Our interest is in getting viewers to watch the broadcast on our website, where we can offer them more information and live updates via microblogging,” Bent Böer adds.

The positive response from Marcel Raab, Project Manager at “whats live?”: “We’re happy to have gained a great brand for our live stream magazine with Hyundai. Since the feedback for our online site has already been very positive leading up to the launch, we’re confident that we will be able to offer a good product to our users and customers”.

The live stream magazine will be officially launched on August 17, 2015 at www.whatislive.com and basically works like a program guide for live streams. Both live stream providers and consumers will profit from the clear overview and categorization of events.
