With the Taurus Series, AS-Schneider, the specialist for industrial valves, presents a Series of Double Block & Bleed Pipeline Ball Valves, designed specifically for your application in the oil and gas industry. The valves are not only impressive with their sophisticated technology, but also with their unique and well-thought-out design.

The Taurus Series consist of a Double Block and Bleed Construction made of two shut-off valves (ball valve) and an expansion valve arranged in between and are available in sizes from one to six inches. Depending on the design, the ball valves are available in from Class 150 to Class 2500. The valves are thus especially suitable as a primary shut-off for oil and gas pipelines. For several years, AS-Schneider has worked together with numerous companies in the industry gaining sound expertise which has influenced the development of the new Series.

This is particularly reflected in the technical advantages of the Taurus Series: For example, the ball valves are especially compact and light. This simplifies installation, especially in tight or hard-to-reach places. The design is certified to the established industry standards, such as those of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). Versions are available in various materials, including those for the body, ball seats and shaft bushings. This means that the Taurus Series can be perfectly adapted to the respective application. The Anti-Static Design prevents explosions; the ball valves have been tested for fire safety according to API 607 and ISO 10497.


The Taurus Series is available in a 2 or 3 Piece Design, both Flanged Style and with Side Entry. AS-Schneider also sets new standards visually: The ball valves have with a modern and attractive design that differs significantly from the products of other manufacturers. Hand wheels and levers also can be removed or locked in order to prevent tampering with the valves.
