Energy Harmony Retreat
DAY 1: 1st December, FridayIntroduction and group orientation to the programme. Each day includes three hours of workshop sessions (Days 1 to 6). Yoga nidra in the evening for deep relaxation.
One-on-one discussions to assess personal health and lifestyle will continue throughout the day.
DAY 2: 2nd December, Saturday
Body awareness through asanas, knowing the physical, pranic and mental aspect through breath and visualisation to develop subtler awareness of chakras.
DAY 3: 3rd December, Sunday
Gentle progression to knowing the Mooladhara (root chakra) and Swadhisthana (sacral) through grounding work to create balance and stability. Antar Mouna to learn withdrawal of senses, the work carves a path for knowing the presence of chakras through the spine and torso.
DAY 4: 4th December, Monday
Focusing on asanas to create compassion and surrender for balancing the Manipura (solar) and Anahata (heart). Pranayama and Kaya Sthairyam for relaxing and decluttering the mind.
Day 5: 5th December, Tuesday
Through movement and pranayama culminate the balancing and cleansing of the chakras that ground us and provide the knowledge of operating through worldly life. Chakra sadhana with sound for deeper meditative awareness of the energy centres.
Day 6: 6th December, Wednesday
A gentle and safe introduction to inversions for addressing the higher chakras. Discovering sound or Nada yoga as a tool for balancing the Vishuddhi (throat) and Ajna (third eye) through pranayama.
Closing session.

Living an active life of a Yogi, Sandeep is an MA in Yoga Physiology from the prestigious Bihar School, also known as Satyananda School of Yoga. Over the years Sandeep taught at the Bihar yoga centres across India. He is a passionate proponent of traditional hatha yoga and believes in the symphony of asana, conscious breathing and mindfulness to create a unique balance.
Chef Arun Kala, Executive Chef - ananda in the Himalayas
Chef Arun is the executive sous chef at Ananda, with two decades of culinary experience overseas and in India. From a budding chef at Oberoi Hotels to working in fine dining restaurants in the USA, London and Delhi, his wellness journey landed him at Ananda in 2014. His culinary academics include bachelor's qualifications from Indian Institute of Hotel Management; from Pastry College in Florida, USA; and in French Classical Cuisine from DGF France.
