Crystal International Propels Employee Communications with Worker Voice Programmes
Hong Kong - Crystal International Group Limited ("Crystal International" or the "Group") elevates employee communications to the next level. The Group is dedicated to cultivating a "people-oriented" culture that provides a collaborative and conducive work environment where employees are actively engaged and connected. Through Worker Voice programmes with innovative and digital tools, Crystal International adopts multi-channels to maintain effective employee relations.Apart from traditional channels, Crystal International uses mobile apps and social media platforms to engage with employees timely. For instance, the Group collaborated with different customers to launch mobile apps such as WOVO and Ulula, aiming to facilitate employee engagement activities, regular employee surveys, and online learning such as women leadership and supervisor skill trainings. Employees also have access to anonymous channels to raise any feedback or grievance. Some Crystal factories also self-developed mobile apps, allowing employees to access company information, including announcements, online trainings, grievance mechanism, pay-slips, etc. with just a few clicks. In addition, Crystal International engages employees through social media groups, which serve as a transparent and customised two-way communication between factory teams and workers.
In view of any needs, employees can also connect with the factory on a personal level by dialling in the employee care toll free hotline, to obtain help on diverse topics such as welfare, labour relations, accident assistance and mental health. Employees can express views without fear of reprisal or repercussions.
An engaging workplace culture enables employees to be well informed and encouraged to share opinions openly. "By utilising innovation to facilitate social dialogue between company and employees, we can provide convenient ways to all employees, especially our factory workers, to communicate with us in a timely manner. We are able to offer prompt assistance anytime, anywhere," said Catherine Chiu, Vice President of Global Sustainability.
Effective and versatile employee communications is essential to empower talents and enhance their sense of belonging. Crystal International will expand the scope of Worker Voice programmes, continuously improving physical and mental well-being in the workplace.
