The new Virtual Reality viewer VRoggles

Cologne, 25.07.2015

Virtual Reality viewers need not be expensive, as the German startup World of VR shows on this years‘ Gamescome expo in Köln, Germany.
„VRoggles“ brings Virtual Reality experiences to everyone at a small budget. Manufactured and personalized in Germany, `World of VR` showcases the many appliactions of the easy-to-use device in Hall 10.1.

Inspired by Google Cardboard, this cardboard-made viewer is positioned in the low-cost segment, yet gives an impressive array of applications and uses which are shown at the booth.

VRoggles has been developed with many uses for the consumer market in mind, such as films, games, music videos, short experiences and so on. Using it couldn’t be easier – download a Virtual Reality app from the app store, slide the phone into place and peer through the lenses to experience Virtual Reality.

An additional magnetic button acts as a trigger just like a touch on the screen. The sound from the smartphone headphone jack adds to the immersion. The viewer is mainly made from cardboard, light weight and easy to assemble and use.

This VRoggles virtual reality viewer gives everyone on a budget an introduction to the world of Virtual Reality, simple and exciting. The possibility to personalize it gives the viewer a unique touch.

World of VR is offering the viewer also on the Gamescom for just 15 Euro, with some special Gamescom extras, and can be purchased directly at Hall 5.1 Booth A006.

You can also order it at www.vroggles.com and it can soon be completely customized online. Different colors, logos or a head strap can be ordered separately.

VRoggles is also an excellent tool for marketing campaigns in the business segment and has been widely used to demonstrate company capabilities in a new way.
This is ideally complemented by World of VR‘s Virtual Reality viewer as a fully branded cardboard, including logo, corporate colors and print-ons. As a turnkey solution, World of VR offers specialized VR and AR apps as well.
Complicated products, large facilities or assets, 3D experiences and other messages can easily be transported with a lasting impression.
Quote of founder Timon Vielhaber: „Virtual Reality and beyond, that is our passion. With the company World of VR, we would like to bring these new and fascinating technologies to as many people as possible with exciting applications.“
