Sarah Nelson, senior manager of Russell Bedford International's Boston member firm, Rucci Bardaro & Barrett receives AVA designation and joins appraisal issues task forceSarah K. Nelson, a senior manager specializing in financial valuation at Russell Bedford's Boston member firm, Rucci Bardaro & Barrett, has been designated an Accredited Valuation Analyst (AVA) by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.
In addition, Sarah was recently accepted as a member of the Appraisal Issues Task Force, a nationally regarded think tank of senior-level valuation professionals. AITF assists the valuation profession with formulating 'best practices', advises the Security & Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) regarding valuation theory and practice, and helps establish and interpret existing rules for valuation practitioners in the U.S. and abroad.
