Bill Rucci takes over as Russell Bedford chairman

Bill Rucci was vice-chairman of Russell Bedford International for two years as part of a transition process, and he continues to serve as co-director of the Russell Bedford North American Tax Services Group.
Following the handover of the chairmanship, Bill Rucci commented: "I am thrilled and deeply honoured to have been chosen for this important role. Geoff Goodyear was chairman for 18 years and was responsible for establishing Russell Bedford as one of the leading global networks of independent mid-tier accounting firms. I look forward to chairing the Russell Bedford board and working with our management team and member firms as we continue to grow the network's global brand and international reach."
Also elected at the AGM were Tom Donovan, partner in PMB Helin Donovan, Austin, Texas, as one of two directors representing North America, and Laurence Newman, partner in Lubbock Fine, London, as one of two directors representing the European region. Both will serve initially for a three-year term on the ten-member board.
Other members of the international board are: Alan Bezzant (CEO); Klaus-Peter Hillebrand (Germany); Jorge Jiménez Lizardi (Mexico); Harris Kligman (Canada); James Ngai (China); Abir Raveh (Israel) and Daniel Ryba (Argentina).
