Press release from: Securosys SA

Zurich, 8 May 2023 - Securosys SA, a leading provider in cybersecurity, cloud security, encryption, and digital identity protection, is proud to announce the opening of its new CloudsHSM datacenter on the USA West Coast. This facility is the latest addition to Securosys' global network of secure datacenters and provides a high-performance, scalable, and secure environment for cryptographic key management and hardware security module (HSM) services.

With CloudsHSM, Securosys offers a comprehensive suite of cloud based HSM services that enable organizations to protect their critical data assets with the highest level of security. The new datacenter is strategically located on the USA West Coast in Silicon Valley, CA. Together with the datacenter on the USA East Coast in North Carolina, Securosys provides high connectivity, low-latency performance, as well as the most cost-efficient and geo-redundant HSM Service for customers across North America and beyond.

Enhanced offering not only for USA customers

Besides geo-redundancy just in the USA, the Securosys' Global HSM Cluster uses facilities in the USA, in Singapore, Germany, and Switzerland to offer synchronized key storage and lowest latency access to private keys for signature and encryption from anywhere in the world.

"We are excited to launch our latest CloudsHSM datacenter in Silicon Valley. With our two locations in the USA and five more in the rest of the world our customers have access to the most secure and scalable HSM services available on the market today," says Robert Rogenmoser, CEO of Securosys. "Digital keys represent the identities and money in the digital world. With Securosys CloudsHSM our customers are able to retain data sovereignty and ensure separation of jurisdiction by keeping their digital keys outside from the large public cloud providers."

Reto Stäuble, VP Services of Securosys, adds: "The new datacenter further strengthens our ability to deliver the CloudsHSM services to our customers. Besides geo-redundancy, we now provide in the USA also Common Criteria certified HSM clusters running in FIPS mode. With our services we cover standard cryptographic functions like signing, encrypting, or key derivation and in combination with the Transaction Security Broker (TSB) service customers can implement multi-authorization schemes to grant sole control to their key material via REST API in an efficient manner."

Managed from Switzerland, in international data centers

The Securosys CloudsHSMs are built using the Primus HSM, which Securosys develops and manufactures in Switzerland. It is managed out of Switzerland. The inexpensive ECO service gives each customer a partition that is securely separated and can be individually controlled, configured, and supplemented with various applications. All datacenters and CloudsHSM operations are ISO 27001 certified. Different integration partners of Securosys, for instance Primekey/Keyfactor, HashiCorp, and CyberArk, to name a few, enable customers to build a tailored solution according to their needs.

Securosys is committed to providing its customers with the highest level of security and reliability in its HSM services. With the addition of the new CloudsHSM datacenter on the USA West Coast, the company continues to expand its global footprint and to deliver world-class cybersecurity solutions to organizations across industries.
