Children’s clothing specialists, Vertbaudet has announced a new collection of children’s fashion to support UNICEF and aid education and the health of children around the world.

Vertbaudet has pledged to donate £1 from every item purchased from the collection to UNICEF.

Valeria Attinelli, a fashion designer who specialises in clothes for children, has created a fun, cheerful and carefree collection, which symbolises what childhood should be like for all children.

The Blabla doll (retailing at £10), is the new symbol of UNICEF.

The Fairy Wings (£9), the Venus Dress (£25) and a collection of various t-shirts, from only £10. These are printed with positive slogans highlighting the message from UNICEF, including: “Being a child is important”, “The world is in my hands”, “I am a fairy”…

These products have been created “to put a smile on everyone’s face and make children happy”, reports Valeria Attinelli.

Original and imaginative, this new children’s fashion collection uses bright and inventive textures as well as modern and cheerful colours. Overall the clothes convey a spirit of optimism.

“I have been inspired by the world of children itself, this imaginary world. I wanted to transmit a message and remind all of us that children are the adults of tomorrow and so that the hope of a bright future is in their hands.” continues Valeria.

The Blabla Doll has already collected more than €80,000 in France. This equates to vaccines for 4,000 children worldwide. This will help to protect 2 million children worldwide that face fatal illnesses.

Vertbaudet UK home shoppers are now also helping to collect money to finance the main objectives of the UNICEF:

• To stop child labour and child prostitution
• To stop the involvement of children in conflict
