Sales Force Increasingly Successful: Grandi Salumifici Italiani Teams Up With XTEL Again
XTEL, the leading company in sales automation solutions for the consumer goods industry, which recently became a member of the Kantar Retail group, today announced that it has been confirmed as the sales force automation supplier to Grandi Salumifici Italiani. The cond cuts company decided, fifteen years on from first collaboration with XTEL, to put their trust in the newly released version of the Sales Master One® suite.Grandi Salumifici Italiani, founded in 2001 as an equal joint venture between the private company Senfter and the Unibon cooperative - the first of its kind in Italy - now has the highest sales revenue in the domestic cold cuts market. With many areas of expertise and a strong international presence, the Grandi Salumifici Italiani group offers all the traditional Italian products and markets them through all available channels, using its well known brands : Casa Modena, Senfter, Alcisa, Cavazzuti, F.lli Parmigiani and Gasser.
The company’s first encounter with XTEL dates back to 1999 when Unibon undertook its first SFA project, later extended to the whole group following the joint venture: “Obtaining the maximum from the work of our sales force has always been extremely important to us.” explains Albano Cavani, Grandi Salumifici Italiani’s Director of Computer Systems “With 350 agents scattered throughout Italy, being able to coordinate and make the most of their work means providing them with technologically advanced systems that are specialised and easy to use, as Sales Master One® has always proved to be”.
After many years of successful use, Grandi Salumifici Italiani have decided to upgrade their current version of Sales Master One® to the latest release, which will allow the company to offer the whole sales force an improved user experience. The system will enable them to take orders and payments through tablets of any make, both online and offline.
“Sales Master One® has proved to be the best solution for GSI once again,” Cavani continues “because it can integrate industry-specific functions with technology that no longer restricts us to a single choice of hardware, but enables us to give our agents - and others working with us from time to time - the proper tool for the specific activities to be undertaken”.
