DISTREE BRAZIL & LATAM 2014: Best in Show

DISTREE Brazil & Latin America 2014 will gather together hundreds of senior executives and buyers from the region’s top ICT and consumer electronics (CE) retailers and e-tailers in one place at one time. The three-day event gives vendors, brand owners and distributors, a unique opportunity to outline their consumer channel strategy, showcase their latest products and pre-schedule a packed agenda of one-on-one meetings with channel executives.

Prior to the awards ceremony, the LatAm Channel Academy invite all of the region’s eligible ICT & CE distributors, retailers and e-tailers to participate in the nomination process that will determine the shortlist of five vendors in each products category.

Tawfik Djafari, Event Director for DISTREE Brazil & Latin America, said: “These are channel awards that actually mean something with the nomination process and the final live vote decided by channel partners. We look forward to announcing the official nominations in September.”

The LatAm Channel Academy has also included a Best in Show award for exhibitors at DISTREE Brazil & Latin America 2014. The event gives participating brands the chance to showcase their products and hold one-on-one meetings with senior channel executives. Channel delegates attending will be asked during the event to nominate the exhibitor that they believe is most deserving of the Best in Show award.

Farouk Hemraj, CEO at DISTREE Events, said: “We are proud to run the Channel Academy awards at DISTREE events around the world.
