Brilliant first half year for ESCHA

Halver, 25 August 2014 – In the first six months of 2014, ESCHA Bauelemente GmbH, the connector- and housing technology specialist from Germany, has increased its turnover by about 13 percent to € 23.35 million (2013: € 20.68 million) compared with the same period of last year, thus achieving the best half-year turnover in the company thirty-year history. According to company-provided information, the basis for the positive business development is attributed to a stable demand at home in Germany as well as the business revival in the EU. In addition, the strategic globalization of the company initiated a few years ago, essentially contributed to the increase in turnover. Above all, the dynamic development of the production- and sales company established in China in 2013.

“The positive turnover development shows that we have been adjusting the right screws in the past few years. On one hand, we dispose of an innovative and a comprehensive product portfolio consequently orientated to up-to-date customers’ requirements. On the other hand, we have been able to continuously develop further the company and orientate the business internationally”, says Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing. Marco Heck, Managing Director at ESCHA Bauelemente GmbH and adds: “It is not only the turnover, but also the order entry with an increase of 21 percent compared with the same period of last year that enables us to look ahead confidently. We expect a record year 2014 in case of a stable economic- and political climate”.

The large demand for connector- and housing solutions made by ESCHA is also reflected in the number of employees with an increase of about five percent in the first half year of 2014.
