In its continued fight against climate change, The Renewable Energy Centre announced today its support for The World Energy Summit 2008, an exhibition aimed at showcasing the latest innovations in technology, opportunities in the industry, as well as new ideas from the leading companies and experts in the field.

On January 21st 2008, the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) will be launched at the Abu Dhabi Exhibition Centre, and The Renewable Energy Centre is pleased to announce their partnership with the first exhibition of this kind worldwide.

The Renewable Energy Centre website is a leading source of information and reference for the industry. Designed for businesses, individuals and organisations researching sustainable and renewable technologies, the website pulls together a wealth of resources into one central location. By partnering with the Summit, The Renewable Energy Centre emphasises its commitment to future energy and aims to raise awareness of the key issues relating to climate change.

The World Energy Summit 2008 will provide an international forum where new and traditional energies meet and will cover all of the major issues surrounding climate change, including carbon management, waste for energy, biofuels, transport, green buildings and sustainable architecture.

The Summit will feature one hundred and fifty of the world’s leading specialists in future energy alongside a fourteen thousand square metre exhibition, showcasing the present and future state of alternative technologies. This is a perfect opportunity for identifying investment opportunities and securing project funds and entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and experts in all disciplines of renewable energies will benefit greatly from attending and networking at the World Future Energy Summit.
