TELECOMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT MADE BY ELCON ENSURES LIVE REPORTS FROM THE BRAZILIAN FOOTBALL STADIUMS DURING THE 2014 FIFA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.
„Power to complete networks“: In the past 24 years more than 11 million network terminating devices made by ELCON have been installed worldwide. The latest generation of this proven equipment is now in use by the Brazilian network operators Telemar and Oi, to provide live broadcasts from the football stadiums in Brazil during the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals.Millions of people around the globe are eagerly awaiting the live reports about the 2014 Football World Championship in Brazil. Interesting to know that part of the communications infrastructure for the live broadcasts is provided by ELCON Systemtechnik: over the last few weeks the Brazilian technicians have deployed ELCON network terminating devices based on ISDN technology. Until now, more than 11 million of ELCON´s network terminating units have been installed in 34 countries.
