Press release from: Solon Management Consulting

Warsaw, 13 February 2013: Solon Management Consulting has opened a new office in Warsaw in order to be closer to its Media and Telecoms clients in the vibrant Polish economy. The Solon Warsaw office also functions as the new hub to serve industry clients as well as investors in the CEE and CIS geographies.

Filip Liharik will be heading the new Solon Warsaw office as Managing Director. He is originally from the Czech Republic and prior to joining Solon in 2012, he worked for Altman Vilandrie & Co., the U.S. based cooperation partner of Solon. Liharik: “After having advised a significant number of companies in Poland, it is really a great opportunity to establish ourselves permanently with an office in Warsaw and thus be able to forge even closer ties with clients here. At the same time, Warsaw is a perfect hub to go on reaching out to other CEE and CIS markets”.

Since 2006 Solon has supported clients in the TMT industries in more than 20 countries in Central and Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States through a dedicated CEE and CIS office in Budapest. Solon is now present with offices in Munich, London and also in Warsaw. Together with its partner firm Altman Vilandrie & Co. with offices in Boston, New York and San Francisco, Solon is serving clients across all of Europe and Africa as well as in North and Latin America.

Patrick Bellenbaum, Partner at Solon and responsible for its business in CEE and CIS, explains: “We have seen that our TMT industry focus in strategy consulting is highly valued by industry players and investors and we will continue to expand our footprint to serve our clients on an international scale.”
