ND SatCom: CYFRA+ Orders Turnkey Earth Stations for Warsaw Headquarters
ND SatCom Strengthens Presence in Polish Broadcast MarketFriedrichshafen, July 2, 2007 - ND SatCom, an SES ASTRA company, was awarded a contract by CANAL+ Cyfrowy to provide earth stations for their new digital TV platform headquarters in Warsaw. The contract includes two uplinks and one downlink system which will broadcast TV channels, including HD programmes. One entire transmission path will be used to receive and transmit the HD signal produced by CANAL+ from the Orange Ekstraklasa (Polish premiere league) matches. The remaining multiport broadcast dishes constitute a flexible solution enabling CANAL+ Cyfrowy to further develop the programming offer of the TV platform.
