NetModule at embedded world 2014: GSM-VoIP Gateway and Cloud Router
Bern/Niederwangen, 29 January 2014 – At this year’s embedded world NetModule will show new wireless products and services (hall 4/370): One major innovation is the audio interface of the e1-certified NB2700 vehicle routers and the EN50155-certified NB3700 railway routers allowing the systems to be used as a GSM-VoIP gateway. Supporting voice calls via GSM and VoIP enables local public transport operators a smooth migration into tomorrow’s all IP-world, without the need to skip conventional technologies such as GSM or ISDN immediately.NetModule’s new Cloud Router provides system integrators advantages such as low investment costs and a high level of data security. In combination with the company’s wireless routers (NB1600, NB2700, NB3700) they can get a complete M2M communication solution from one single source, enabling customers to develop and operate their own applications efficiently. Users in various markets, i.e. process industry, energy supply, vending machines and transportation, benefit from a ‘care-free package’ for their M2M connectivity.
