CELEBRITY MENTALIST JIM KAROL TAKES MONIKER OF “MIND OVER MAN”
“This is a really exciting stage of my career. I’m thrilled to be involved in many different projects related to the brain and mental power,” Karol says. “This new nickname really speaks to my focus right now and tells people what I’m all about.”
Mind Over Man will embark on a whirlwind tour of the country in coming months. In February, he will be headlining the annual star-studded Leather & Laces Super Bowl party hosted by Victoria Secret. He will also be embarking on a nationwide publicity tour to share with the public his proprietary brain training methods, which have helped him achieve such feats as memorizing more than 80,000 zip codes, every word in the Scrabble dictionary and thousands of digits of Pi.
Karol, voted the World’s Greatest Mentalist at the World Magic Awards, was also just appointed spokesperson for the International Brain Research Foundation, a 501c3 public charity that serves as a platform for support of, and collaboration with, leading neuroscientists and research institutions around the world. Neurologists at the organization recently discovered that Karol’s brain has reached unusually high levels—three standard deviations from average. He will be working closely with the IBRF to help those with cognitive issues help regain lost skills through rigorous brain training.
Karol, who has appeared on “The Rosie O’Donnell Show,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and NBC’s “TODAY Show,” will also be scheduling media appearances in coming months to share his latest news and projects with audiences worldwide.
Visitors to his redesigned website, JimKarol.com, will enjoy brand new photography of Mind Over Man, captured by Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Brian Smith. The portraits reflect the many faces of Karol, from mental expert to entertainer to inspiration. The website also features quotes from media personalities who have been awed by Karol’s live performances, including Ellen DeGeneres, Al Roker, Artie Lange from “The Howard Stern Show,” and Ross Matthews from NBC’s “Phenomenon.” There are also glowing testimonials from those who have commissioned Karol to entertain and motivate their groups, including military cadets and corporate executives.
