Who is BALLARD?
BALLARD is the musical world of Paolo Ballardini, a rock guitarist who in his twenty-year career has always tried to broaden his musical horizons. He works as a session man in musical orchestras (Pretty Woman, Mamma Mia!, Saturday Night Fever etc ...) and TV orchestra.
In the progressive field, since 2015 he is the guitarist of "EXCALIBUR" opera-rock by the Breton artist Alan Simon; here the context of contamination, with roots in the most classic prog-rock, gave him the opportunity to share the stage with some icons such as Martin Barre (JETHRO TULL), Michael Sadler (SAGA), Richard Palmer (KING CRIMSON), John Helliwell (SUPERTRAMP), Moya Brennan (CLANNAD) and many others.
