Four Stewart Stimmel LLP Attorneys Among Texas Super Lawyers

DALLAS – The health care law firm of Stewart Stimmel LLP is pleased to announce that four partners in the 14-attorney practice have been selected as 2007 Texas Super Lawyers by the publishers of Texas Monthly and Law & Politics Media Inc.

Selected for this honor were James “Mac” Stewart and Linda Stimmel, both in the area of Health Care. Additionally, Charles Bell was honored for Medical Malpractice Defense and Vernon Krueger was recognized for his work in the area of General Defense.

The magazine went through a highly selective process in identifying attorneys for inclusion. Approximately 70,000 ballots were sent statewide to attorneys, who nominated the best attorneys they have personally observed in action.

Nominees were grouped into more than 60 practice areas, and attorneys receiving the highest point totals in each practice area were invited to serve on the blue ribbon panel, where they reviewed and scored nominees from their practice area. At the same time, the magazine conducted research to identify attorneys not named in the statewide survey. All nominees were verified for being active and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.

In all, fewer than 5 percent of the attorneys nominated were chosen for this honor. Texas Super Lawyers appears in the October 2006 issue of Texas Monthly and Texas Super Lawyers, a publication co-produced by the publishers of Texas Monthly and Law & Politics Media, Inc.
