Vyoma Labs launches the first e-learning product for CBSE 10th Standard Sem II - Sanskrit students
8th November 2013, Bangalore, Karnataka, India: Vyoma Labs, the only private company in India working in the linguistics domain, today announced the launch of the first e-learning product for CBSE 10th standard (semester – II) students in Sanskrit. The product known as ‘CBSESanskrit’ explains, tutors and teaches Sanskrit for CBSE 10th standard using text, rich media and classroom simulation on an e-learning platform. The syllabus of CBSESanskrit is aligned to the syllabus prescribed by the CBSE Board.CBSESanskrit is available for students online through subscriptions at www.cbsesanskrit.com. This apart an enterprise version of CBSESanskrit is also available for schools providing their students the best experience of learning Sanskrit using technology.
The buzz surrounding the launch this time is exciting. Speaking at the occasion, Venkatasubramanian, the Co-Founder of Vyoma Labs said, “The product is aimed at generating a natural interest towards learning the Sanskrit language. This is done through explaining grammar and linguistic concepts in detail. Practice exercises and exam module in the product ensure application of the concepts and increase the opportunity to score marks. There are many eLearning tools for other subjects but none has ventured into teaching Sanskrit.”
Dr. Srinivasa Varakhedi, Professor and Dean of Sanskrit at Karnataka Samskrit University said that “This is the first time we are seeing such professional efforts put into teaching Sanskrit. It is very heartening to see use of modern day technology to disseminate the most ancient and scientific language of the world – Sanskrit.”
