Feingold Technologies: Two-time winner at GSVA Event "Celebrating Innovation"

Unterfoehring/Munich, 28 Oct 2013
"And the winner is…: Feingold Technologies". The excited audience got to hear these words twice at this year’s German Silicon Valley Accelerator (GSVA) program for German start-ups, supported by the German Ministry of Economics and Technology.

Following a tedious selection process from more than 70 applicants, Erik A. Feingold, the CEO and founder of Feingold Technologies was announced as one of this year’s 12 winners at the “Celebrating Innovation” event at Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf earlier this month. Feingold also took home the coveted grand prize of the evening as the winner of the popular vote for the technology and their “stress manager” application.

The German Silicon Valley Accelerator enables promising German high-tech innovators to go to the Silicon Valley for a period of three to six months. Supported by the German Ministry of Economics and Technology the successful companies get the chance to conquer Silicon Valley and thereby expand to global operations.

“The U.S. market is an excellent springboard for international expansion for us," says Feingold. “I am very happy that the Silicon Valley provides ideal conditions for us. This is the place that can really bring technology and emotionality together. I am proud to be bringing such a technology from Germany. It is the natural next step for our technologies that measure emotional states via voice and text. We are thrilled to have a partner at our side, the GSVA team, to achieve all that.”

As part of the program, Feingold will begin working from an office on-site in January 2014 and begin developing the international strategy and entry into the U.S. market. “I am looking forward to expanding our company from our German headquarters, and seeing our team here growing as well,” adds Feingold.

About Feingold Technologies GmbH: The company was founded in 2010 by Erik A. Feingold, and is based in Unterföhring near Munich. It created the VerityVoice and the VerityMind technologies for analyzing and changing emotional states using voice and text. Renowned DAX 500 companies from the logistics, pharmaceutical and financial industry, such as the Deutsche Post / DHL, Merck / MSD, Boehringer Ingelheim, and many others are already using Feingold’s business applications. In cooperation with Deutsche Telekom, Feingold introduced a mobile app at CeBIT 2013 for measuring and controlling stress. The proprietary technologies are developed and utilized in the mega-trend markets of “mobile healthcare”, “wearable technology” and “qualitative text analysis” (Big Data). End-consumers can also take advantage of the innovative products, e.g. with the “Bewerbungscoach”and “Job Interview Trainer” apps for iPad.
