Ray J. Daniel Joining Polunsky & Beitel, LLP As New Director of Client Relations and Business Development
Ray J. Daniel has joined Polunsky & Beitel, LLP, as Director of Client Relations and Business Development
Mr. Daniel has spent more than 35 years in the mortgage, banking and legal industries, having most recently served as Executive Vice President of the law firm of Middleberg, Riddle & Gianna in Dallas. During his career, Mr. Daniel also has held managerial positions with Cornerstone Mortgage Company and North American Mortgage Company, and also was a partner in the law firm of Shanks, Tritter, Ledbetter & Daniel PC.
“Ray is one of the most experienced and respected professionals in the mortgage industry,” says Allan B. Polunsky, managing partner of Polunsky & Beitel. “His dedication and expertise will only help further our mission to provide the best residential mortgage legal services anywhere.”
As Director of Client Relations and Business Development, Mr. Daniel will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the firm’s services for existing clients while establishing new relationships with originators in the mortgage and banking industries.

Mr. Daniel previously served on the Board of Directors for the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, as well as President of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association. In 2005, Mr. Daniel attained his CMB Certification as a Certified Mortgage Banker from the MBAA. He earned his bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Texas in 1970, and his law degree from the University of Houston’s Bates College of Law (now the University of Houston Law Center) in 1974.
