Gilbane Construction Awards Fire Protection Industries with Outstanding Sub-contractor Award
Bensalem, PA – Fire Protection Industries has received the Outstanding Subcontractor Award from Gilbane Construction in Philadelphia, PA for their work on the Community College of Philadelphia fire protection project. Fire Protection Industries (FPI – Sentinel) feels honored for the recognition.Paul Volkwine worked as Project Manager and Sales Estimator for this project while Jay Nofer managed field personnel and materials. The community college project proved challenging because of the timeline phases and the college was in full attendance during the duration of the project. Fire Protection Industries (FPI – Sentinel) installed a new system comprising of approximately 200 sprinkler heads in the Bonnell addition and revamped portions of the existing systems which included relocating over 800 sprinkler heads within seven different phases of the renovations, encompassing portions of the Mint, Bonnell, and West Buildings. Also included in the project was the standpipe conversion in the West building.
