Karl Vondran is Promoted from CFO to President of Fire Protection Industries – Sentinel Services

Northbrook, IL – After 32 years as President of Fire Protection Industries, Aus Marburger has retired, and Karl Vondran has stepped into the role as of August 15, 2013. Mr. Marburger was instrumental in making FPI – Sentinel a local leader in the life safety market in the Mid-Atlantic. With his expertise in fire protection and his involvement with the National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA), Mr. Marburger’s passion for life safety translated into every FPI – Sentinel project. While FPI – Sentinel will miss Mr. Marburger’s passion for the fire protection industry, they are gaining the business and construction expertise of Mr. Vondran.

Mr. Vondran has worked his way through the ranks of Fire Protection Industries – Sentinel Services for the past 4.5 years. He began his tenure as an Accounting Manager, then became a Controller, followed by Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and, as of August 15, 2013, President of FPI – Sentinel. Mr. Vondran brought over 20 years of construction experience to his roles at FPI – Sentinel, including ownership, general contractor, and subcontractor.
