Allview launches the City+ Tablet PC
Braşov, 22th August 2013. Allview, the leading Romanian IT&C manufacturer, launched today the Tablet PC City+, created especially for those who want an elegant, portable and perfromant device at an affordable price. The new City+ comes to succeed the Speed City model and comes with an IPS display and a bigger image resolution. City + is only 7,9 mm thick and has an IPS display with a 1024 x 600 px resolution. The high procession speed is assured by the 1,5 GHz Dual Core Cortex A9 processor. The new tablet PC runs the Android 4.1. Jelly Bean operating system.“The succes of Speed City, our best selling tablet, inspired us to develop a new product that should offer more advantages at a good price. That’s how we created City+, an affordable, but quality tablet PC”, says Lucian Peticila, Allview’s General Manager.
Only 7,9 mm thick and with a weight of 289 grams, the new Allview tablet is a compact and easy to use device. City+ is equipped with a 7’’ IPS LCD display that offers a generous space for watching videoclips, seeing pictures, reading documents or making video calls with the help of the front camera. Due to the 1024 x 600 px resolution, the images are very clear.
The tablet comes with a 1,5 GHz Dual Core Cortex A9 processor. Games and applications are running fast due to the Mali 400 graphic processor. City+ can play back Full HD videos, and by connecting it through HDMI cable to a compatible TV, the videos can be seen at this resolution. City+ supports a large variety of e-book formats, and through the pre-installed online shop, the users can acces a multitude of games and apps.
The new device features Android 4.1. Jelly Bean, which ensures a smoother and faster experience. This translates into shorter reaction times, smoother transitions between home screens as well as battery optimization and improved widgets. Due to the pre-installed update-application, every software update can be esily made.
