For the Chinese market – without doubt one of the most attractive target countries for exporting goods and equipment – the prevailing import regulations are exceedingly complex. For any successful export to China, it is compulsory to pay attention to these import regulations.

With the “China Compulsory Certification” (CCC) in 2003, a certification and labelling obligation was implemented that guarantees standard regulations for the import of CCC-compulsory products to China. “Indeed, the CCC regulations are similar to European criteria and standards”, the director of the company, Dr Thomas Krause, points out. “Anyhow, it is very likely that exporters come across various problems and hassles that are due to the complexity of the CCC-procedure”.

The accurate execution of the CCC-procedure is enormously important to avoid major problems: “The procedure has to be done professionally to prevent cost increase and time loss”, Krause adds.
